Arriving to Sanctuary Firenze:
From the Florence central train station “Santa Maria Novella,” we recommend a leisurely walk (15 minutes) or a taxi (5 minutes).
1. Exit the train and proceed left towards the exit closest to McDonalds.
2. Walk through the square Piazza della Stazione, past Piazza dell’Unità Italiana and walk along Via de’ Panzani until it becomes Via de Cerretani.
3. Continue on Via de Cerretani which leads you directly to Piazza del Duomo.
4. At this point keep walking, with the Duomo on your right side, until it is fully behind you.
5. Shortly, you will turn left on Via dell’Orioulo.
6. Proceed and take the second left onto Borgo Pinti. We are at #15 on the left side of the street!
– From Florence airport “Amerigo Vespucci”, take a taxi directly to #15 Borgo Pinti (approx. 20 minutes). Alternatively, you can take the tranvia directly to stop “Santa Maria Novella”, then walk or taxi.
– From Pisa airport “Galileo Galilei”, we recommend the train to Florence Santa Maria Novella station leaving every hour. From there reach us by taxi or foot.
– By car*, if arriving from the south, exit autostrada A1 at “Firenze Impruneta”; if arriving from the north, exit instead at “Firenze Nord”. From the exit, GPS directly to Borgo Pinti, 15.
*Please note: Only authorized vehicles are permitted inside the Florence ZTL (traffic-limited zone). To avoid penalty, you must arrange directly with a nearby lot such as Garage City Florence (Borgo Pinti), or City Parking Fiesolana (Via Fiesolana).
